Partner
With a strong entrepreneurial background in venture capital and private equity in the building and buying/selling companies. David has both public and private company board experience.
He is a Hong Kong Permanent Resident and holds both Irish and Australian citizenship.
Adam Upton
PARTNER
Adam is a CFA charterholder who leads the Asset Management business of AOP Capital and oversees the development of fund strategies. He has more than 25 years experience in the investment industry most recently as portfolio manager with JPMorgan based in Hong Kong. Prior to this he was an equity analyst based in Australia with JPMorgan and ABNAmro.
Gerald Dennig

Formerly CIO of Goldman Sachs PWM Asia and Head of Portfolio Management UBS Asia. Gerald leads the Wealth Management practice of AOP, with a focus on Ultra High Net Worth Families.
Vincent Leung

Vincent has a broad base of public and private company experience across Hong Kong and Australia. Prior to AOP Vincent was with PwC Australia and Hong Kong.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Vincent’s experience is invaluable in the Corporate Consulting practice.

Willem Bark
Director of Capital Advisory
Willem develops strategic collaboration opportunities for our Corporate Consulting practice. He has over 18 years’ experience as a corporate finance professional in North America and the Middle East. Formerly with ABN Amro and UBS. He spent 14 years in the UAE and Qatar, advising family businesses, corporates and sovereign clients. He is also fluent in English, Dutch and German.
Myles Ormerod
Analyst
Myles manages idea generation and due diligence processes for listed and unlisted investments, including providing industry and company-specific research, and construction of financial models at AOP. Myles graduated from the University of Exeter, UK with a Bachelor of Arts, and from HKUST, HK with an MSc in Finance. He is fluent in several languages including English, Arabic, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
